Globalization and immigration have brought increased complexity and change not only into the workplace environment, but also in our day to day life in our communities. On top of that, as humans we “do not see the things as they are, we see things as we are” (Anais Nin) and this sometimes challenges our ability to interact effectively with people from various cultures.
The goal of this course is to provide practical tools and techniques and help the participants develop cultural competencies and increase their effectiveness in dealing with challenges that arise from the interaction of people from different cultural backgrounds.
About Our Guest Speaker
Mihaela has more than 17 years of experience in multicultural teams and environments. Working as a marketer in MedTech industry and leading local and regional teams she developed a deep understanding on how cultural aspects impact human interactions in the workplace, in the market and in day to day life. Over her life and career she helped her colleagues and customers from various cultural backgrounds to perform effectively in multicultural teams and reach their goals. Mihaela has an MBA from Hult International Business School, USA and a BA in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnics Univ. of Bucharest. She is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and a member of ICF.
