If you had an open wound on your arm, and someone touched it, you would jump in pain. Likewise, when your heart are hurt by unpleasant experiences in the past, if these hurts were left unhealed, they become open wounds that are sore spots that causes you to react in pain when anything reminds you of them. These sore spots are what we call emotional triggers.
In this session, we will look at how our nervous system is affected by emotional triggers and how to engage our nervous system incorporating somatic approaches to disarm our triggers and calm our nervous system down in moments when we get triggered.
We will also look at how to heal painful memories by releasing toxic emotions and trauma trapped in our minds and bodies. By the end of the session, you will be equipped with an easy practical way to deal with your daily stresses and improve your mental health.

Patrick Loh is passionate about empowering people to heal holistically in a systematic way. Patrick believes that out of the human heart flows forth the issues of life and as people begin to heal and thrive in their hearts, other areas of their lives begin to thrive. Over the years, he has seen people heal physically and emotionally, and thrive relationally and financially as they experience healing in their hearts. Vocationally, Patrick works as a pastor in a Singaporean local church.
