About CliftonStrengths (aka StrengthsFinder 2.0)
Do you have the opportunity to do what you do best every day?
Chances are, you don’t. All too often, our natural talents go untapped. From the cradle to the cubicle, we devote more time to fixing our shortcomings than to developing our strengths.
To help people uncover their talents, Gallup introduced the first version of its online assessment, StrengthsFinder, in the 2001 management book Now, Discover Your Strengths. The book spent more than five years on the bestseller lists and ignited a global conversation, while StrengthsFinder helped millions to discover their top five talents.
In StrengthsFinder 2.0 Gallup unveiled the new and improved version of its popular assessment, language of 34 themes, and much more. While you can read this book in one sitting, you’ll use it as a reference for decades.
Loaded with hundreds of strategies for applying your strengths, this Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and USA Today bestseller will change the way you look at yourself — and the world around you — forever.

Developing and Applying Your Strengths
Many people take the StrengthsFinder Assessment, be amazed at the accuracy of the reports, and then keep their reports in the drawers – never to see them again. The reason is, few people know what to do with the information after they have gotten the report.
More than just increasing self-awareness (which is an important first step), StrengthsFinder is about improving performance and relationships, and about finding the way that is most natural and energising for you to get your task accomplished.
Here are some ways that you can maximise your talents after you have received your reports:
- Join a local Meet-up Group
Being in a community of like-minded people will give you a safe environment to discover and develop your strengths. There are meet-up groups that are being held all over the world! If you are in Singapore, join the StrengthsFinder Singapore Network to know more about how to develop and apply your strengths. - Engage a Strengths Coach
If you would really like to focus on the development of your strengths, there’s really nothing like having your own personal strengths coach to guide you in your journey. Find out more about how coaching can benefit you here.
